Hurricane forecasts from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Colorado State University (CSU), and the Weather Services International (WSI) Corporation are predicting that the Atlantic basin will experience above average tropical weather activity during the 2011 season. The season, which began on June 1 and ends on November 30, will peak between August and October. Although the hurricane activity will likely result in offshore natural gas production shut-ins, shut-in volume projections are uncertain, and significant price spikes are not expected.....
